Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Love Actually. The 2003 rom-com with a star-studded cast follows multiple storylines in London in the lead-up to Christmas.But as well as being hugely popular, Love Actually has divided many people's opinions.Although the films features nine love stories, they are all about heterosexual couples.None of the storylines involve LGBTQ+ couples – which it has been heavily criticised for.But one scene that was cut from the movie could actually have helped it avoid some of that criticism.When Love Actually was originally shot, it included a storyline with a same sex couple.The scene, which was cut, involved Coronation Street star Anne Reid and her terminally-ill girlfriend, played by Rising Damp actress.
