BBC Breakfast star Louise Minchin, 51, said she was told she was “struggling against biology” by a sleep expert, who encouraged her to take a nap in the afternoon after the show.The presenter sets her alarm for 3.45am most mornings for a 6am start on the show.Speaking on Postcards From Midlife podcast, the mother-of-two was asked how she copes with early mornings.She explained: “I change it all the time, I think this morning was 3.45am, it is in the middle of the night and it is very dark.“There’s two or three weeks in the summer when it’s not dark when I wake up.“The other ridiculous thing on a sort of personal level is that, we interview people all the time and we talk to sleep experts.Matt Baker: The One Show host addresses 'difficult'.
