Louis Theroux spent time in the notorious prisons San Quentin and Miami County Jail, and during his career, has interviewed serial killers, gang members and paedophiles.But when it comes to the idea of actually being imprisoned, the documentary maker isn’t that confident in his survival skills.The 50-year-old addressed how long he would survive in prison, and while he has been beefing up thanks to PE with Joe Wicks, he admits he would struggle.Louis appeared on the latest episode of Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster, and was asked about his tenacity after dropping the ‘prison saying’, ‘lock in a sock’.Acaster laughed: ‘Because you’ve done documentaries, you can start sentences by, “in prison they have a saying – lock in a sock”..
