Lottie Ryan has opened up about how she’s finally able to speak about her father Gerry on the eleventh anniversary of his death.
The beloved presenter died suddenly from cardiac arrhythmia in 2010 when she was just 24. Recalling how she was a different person back then Lottie told Jennifer Zamparelli: ‘You didn’t know me 11 years ago but I was cagey, a very closed book, almost resentful if people brought him up.’ ‘I found it very hard to process death and healing when I could have been having a good day and people just wanted to talk about him all the time.’ Looking back now and she has a very different outlook.
These days the mum-to-be has ‘zero issues’ talking about her father and instead wonders what he would have made of their lives
