Lorraine Kelly told viewers she was 'very sorry' as she paused the latest edition of the programme to announce the death of one of her co-stars.
The presenter returned to the helm of her self-title ITV show on Monday (October 7) was she shared the sad news that a member of her Change + Check Choir had passed away from secondary breast cancer.
The Change + Check campaign was first launched in 2019 and has gone from strength with one of the most plauded elements being the stickers encouraging you to check yourself when in changing rooms, which were distributed in stores such as John Lewis and Partners, ASDA, Warehouse and David Lloyd Gyms. Heather Sawyer was one of the choir member, who was sadly diagnosed with terminal Stage 4 cancer and died on Saturday (October 5), with the tragic news being announced by her husband on social media.
