Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Susanna Reid made a surprise appearance on Lorraine to share a very exciting announcement on Monday, 25 March.The presenter headed over to the studio where Lorraine is shot straight after presenting Good Morning Britain with Richard Madeley.
Susanna, 53, stunned host Lorraine Kelly, 64, as she appeared through a set of double doors on the set, and proudly announced: “Good morning Lorraine, this has come as an enormous surprise… I have a very special announcement for you, Lorraine Kelly.
It doesn’t get much bigger or more deserved than this. I am here for a very special reason this morning." The GMB star informed Lorraine that she's being honoured with a BAFTA Special Award to celebrate the presenter’s 40 years in broadcasting.
Lorraine joked: “I’m frightened”, before Susanna explained more about her surprise appearance. Susanna added: "BAFTA will be celebrating your 40 years in broadcasting.
