Lorraine Kelly, who has charmed viewers since 2010, has said sticking to a "no a*******s" rule with her long-term team members has helped with the show's success.
Describing the programme as her "comfort zone", the 64-year-old praised her loyal team, some of whom have worked alongside her for many years.
On her approach to the show, Lorraine explained how she's created a supportive environment and often checks in with her guests to ensure they're comfortable before going on air. "I always try every morning to have a wee chat with everybody before they come on," she shared. "I don't go through the interview or anything, but I want to make sure that they're alright, so that if I see someone struggling or they're worried about something, or if they're clearly very nervous, it's good to talk to them beforehand." Speaking further about how she keeps the show positive, she added on the Blethered podcast, laughing: "I know who the a*******s are, it's all fine, it's all good." When the podcast's host Sean McDonald pressed her about the difficult industry characters she was referring to, Lorraine gave a cheeky laugh and responded: "How much time have you got?
