Celebs arrive in festive style for Kate Middleton's Christmas carol service

A host of celebrities have arrived at Westminster Abbey on Friday 6 December for the Princess of Wales’ annual Christmas carol concert.

Princess Kate has made only a handful of public appearances this year following her treatment for cancer, but she has begun to make a return to royal duties and was accompanied to the event by her family, including husband Prince William and children George, Charlotte and Louis.

The princess looked stunning in a scarlet coat with a black bow by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, and many other guests at the occasion also embraced yuletide red in their outfits.Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham looked smart in a burgundy coat and black and red floral dress, while Paloma Faith wore a striking scarlet lace dress and heels.

Lorraine Kelly, meanwhile, wore a red and green tartan coat, and Amy Dowden dazzled in a vibrant red trouser suit and coat. There were many other famous arrivals, including Sir Chris Hoy, Tom and Giovanna Fletcher, Kate Garraway, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, Ed Balls and Richard E Grant, who all made their way into the abbey for the concert.
