Lorraine Kelly's daughter Rosie engaged – months after announcing pregnancy

Lorraine Kelly has shared her excitement that her daughter Rosie is now engaged and gushed she was "so happy".The news comes just after Rosie also revealing she's expecting her first child.

Rosie announced the news on Instagram that she is now engaged to partner Steve White and including an image of her stunning ring in a series of sweet pictures.

As she posed with her blossoming baby bump, Rosie wrote: "There are too many lovely things going on and I’m not quite sure what to do with myself. "Everyone always told me you’ll know when it’s about to happen but I had absolutely no idea, but I have a lifetime to get you back @stevewhite94. "The biggest thank you ever to @elizabethmacdonaldjewels for being so sneaky and helping to design the most beautiful ring. "Going for a lie down now…" Her mum Lorraine, 64, was one of the first to respond to the lovely news, and gushed in the comments section: "So happy - it’s such lovely news and I will have a son as well as a grand daughter." It's set to be an exciting year for their family as Rosie, who just celebrated her 30th birthday Saturday 8 June, is due to give birth to her first baby later this year - and it's a girl.

Mum-of-one Lorraine has made no secret of her excitement to be a grandmother and has spoken openly about Rosie's pregnancy on the ITV show on a number of occasions since the announcement.
