Lorraine Kelly found herself a tad red-faced after she accidentally dropped a cheeky word on Good Morning Britain during her regular appearance. The 64-year-old telly favourite was in the midst of a lively chat with Susanna Reid and Ed Balls about her upcoming guests on Monday, March 10, when the naughty term just slipped out.
Buzzing about Sir David Suchet's visit to her show, thanks to Agatha Christie's latest page-turner, Lorraine gushed: "Sir David Suchet is coming in and I just wondered, you know what he makes....
and what Poirot would have made of (Towards) Zero the new Agatha Christie, it's called Sh*****a Christie apparently." Susanna, clearly taken aback, interjected with a quick "I beg your pardon," surprised by Lorraine's choice of words.
Meanwhile, Lorraine questioned: "Am I allowed to say that?" only for Ed to crisply respond: "No", reports the Mirror. The Scottish host then quipped: "Well I just have," and followed up with: "Anyway, I apologise for apologising and I'll apologise again for myself." Attempting to steer back to her show preview, she continued: "Anyway, it's raunchy, Agatha Christie is raunchy which I don't really think that you need but we'll find out what David thinks." "Ok", came Susanna's doubtful reply.
