Lorraine Kelly has compared the enquiry into Boris Johnson attending parties in Downing Street to one into herself taking porridge in the morning.

Lorraine, who is often straight to the point on her show, was talking about the Prime Minister being asked if he was at the party in 10 Downing Street - and his response saying that he'd have to wait for the official report before he could answer.

She said: "It's like me saying 'Did you have porridge this morning? and me saying 'I'll have to wait for the breakfast enquiry to answer.' You cant get your head round it can you?"She added: "its like theatre.

It's extraordinary."Her latest comment comes after she slammed Boris on podcast The Vanity Project.Lorraine said: "What I’ve seen over the years is the erosion of trust in government, and it’s not a surprise is it?
