Lorraine Kelly appears to distance herself from Holly Willoughby after Phillip scandal

Lorraine Kelly has kept her distance from fellow ITV daytime presenter Holly Willoughby, following the controversy surrounding her former This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield's departure.

Earlier this year, Phillip, 61, quit the daytime show after more than 20 years, following reports of a falling out between himself and Holly.

He then parted ways with ITV completely after publicly admitting to having had an 'unwise but not illegal' affair with a younger male colleague on the programme.

Both the show itself and ITV have since found themselves embroiled in controversy amid claims of a "toxic environment" on This Morning, with the network now undergoing an internal investigation into this.
