Charlene White's Loose Women co-stars rushed to comfort her live on air as she became emotional when talking about a heartbreaking family loss.
The presenter was back anchoring the ITV panel show on Thursday (March 28) when they opened up about grief. The conversation saw Charlene burst into tears as she opened up about her mother’s death and recalled that she felt alone when she was pregnant with her first child.
Her mother Dorette died, aged 42, from bowel cancer when the broadcaster was 16. Charlene then took on the role of a mother figure for her younger siblings but felt she needed her own mum when she was set to become one herself.
Speaking about handling grief on the daytime chat show, Charlene became emotional and said: "I didn't expect to still get upset about that stuff," as co-star Judi Love rushed to her side and giving her a hug while Linda Robson and Olivia Attwood-Dack also shared their support.
