Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Loose Women star hints at 'family issues' as she shares emotional plea on the show

Penny Lancaster appeared to hint at 'family issues' this week during an appearance on Loose Women, admitting that every family has them from 'time to time'.

The model, who has been married to Rod Stewart since 2007, was on the panel for Tuesday's (27 August) instalment of the show when they were discussing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's fractured relationship with the royal family.

Discussing whether Harry and Meghan should be welcomed back into the royal family, Christine Lampard said: "Is he holding out an olive branch to his family?

Would you like to see them welcomed back into the royal fold?" Turning to Penny, the presenter asked: "What do you think - and should they just try to fix it all?" Penny responded: "For me, I'm not judging one way or the other - you know, do I like Harry, do I think this or that?" Drawing on her own experiences, Penny continued: "I'm looking at the broader picture really, just about the family.
