When the news started to hit about the ­coronavirus pandemic, Nadia Sawalha was a nervous wreck. “In the first week, I wasn’t dealing with it well at all.

My dad had just had a heart operation and I was so frantic. I was watching the news 24/7 and I had high anxiety.” Even now, she feels emotional most days. “I’m crying more than I’ve ever cried and I find myself wondering what the world will look like when we come out of all of this.” Nadia reveals she started social distancing a few weeks before the lockdown.
