Judi Love has contacted ITV bosses asking to host a new version of Love Island for older contestants.The Loose Women panellist tagged the TV network in a post on Twitter, as she retweeted comedian Clare Harrison McCartney's suggestion that she leads a new version of the popular dating show.Clare said: "I’ve said for years to @ITV that there should be an older love island for real people.She added: "It would be like Big Brother in the sun.
I’d love to go on it. @1Judilove should definitely host it. It would be a right laugh. In my case though - Love Handles Island."Judi then said: "Yepppp @LoveIsland @ITV."The Tweets come after Judi expressed an interest in hosting an older version of Love Island in Wednesday's episode of Loose Women.The panellists were discussing the potential format shake-up when Judi said: "I think a show like that would be great, I mean bring in the dramas, bring in someone, bring in an ex who wants someone back."Let's see some real romance and getting the juice and if you want a host, I'm right here."Fans were quick to agree that Judi would be perfect as the host.One person Tweeted: "Oh my days I would so be there to see @1Judilove on this."Another said: "Where do I sign up," whilst another fan Tweeted a series of 100 emojis.Laura Whitmore currently presents Love Island.
