Fans of ITV series Long Lost Family will know that you need to have tissues on standby to watch every episode. And tonight’s instalment of the emotional programme is no different, as viewers are introduced to Louise Stoppani - a woman who tells hosts Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell that she desperately wants to track down her birth father.
Louise, 39, from Rochester in Kent, grew up with her mum Dawn and John, the man she believed to be her biological father throughout her childhood.
However, aged seven, Louise discovered that John wasn’t actually her birth dad, which led to her wanting to meet the man who was.
