Lizzo Pokes Fun at Ozempic Rumors & 'South Park' Spoof With Cheeky Halloween Costume

Lizzo is getting the last laugh about those rumors that she’s been taking Ozempic. The 36-year-old “Truth Hurts” hitmaker took to social media on Saturday (October 26) to debut her Halloween costume for the year, which pokes fun at the whispers that she’s been taking the weight-loss drug.

In the process, she also referenced a South Park spoof, which featured an alternative version of the drug that was named after her. Keep reading to find out more… On Instagram, Lizzo shared a photoshopped ad of herself as a box of her namesake “medication.” It featured a yellow measuring tape cinched tightly around her waist and low white heels. “Need Self Love,” the ad asks, urging people to “Try Lizzo” and to “lose guilt” and “gain confidence.” The potential side effects included “a smile on your face and a pep in your step.” Lizzo also shared a video of herself dancing on set as audio from the South Park episode played.

She also danced in front of a cutout of the character Cartman. She shared a few other posts with the costume, including a video of herself dancing with a blowup version of Cartman.
