Lizzo Brings Her Flute to Met Gala 2022

The 34-year-old Cuz I Love You superstar hit the red carpet at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Lizzo wore an ornate jacket to the event, and at one point, broke out her flute to showcase her famous skills in front of the photographers.
See every look that hit the 2022 Met Gala red carpet! The dress code for the event is “Gilded Glamour” and it’s inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890.
The official co-chairs this year are Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
