Livingston skipper Mick Devlin insists they all have to pitch in to help get the most out of the club’s strikers.The Lions fired another blank on Sunday as they went down 2-0 at home to Rangers.And while that shutout perhaps wasn’t unexpected, it extends the run of just one goal from open play in nine games for the Premiership’s basement boys.David Martindale’s side have gone four games without finding the net, while three of their last four goals have come from Sean Kelly penalties.The captain insists that they possess plenty of talent at the top end of the park, but they are simply being asked to do too much because they rest of the side aren’t supplying them with adequate service.He said: “We’re not in a good place but I think the level of performance was there last week against Dundee.“If you believe in the process and what you’re trying to do, that gives you a better chance of getting three points.“We need to look at what we did against Dundee and need to try our best to replicate that. “First and foremost, the essentials of the game in terms of being hard to beat and then having the bravery to cause teams issues at the top end of the pitch. “I don’t think we caused Rangers anywhere near enough and it’s not a great way to be in terms of winning games of football.“We need to look at that and address it.

We’ve got good players at the top end of the pitch but they’re relying on service that isn’t coming just now – and I’m part of that.“They’ve been feeding off scraps and trying to come up with a bit of quality and that’s not fair on them.
