Liverpool have continued to do business beyond the main European transfer deadline, sending Marko Grujic on loan to Porto for the season, but aside from that deal it has been a relatively quiet few days for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Reds got most of their deals done relatively early, making three senior signings and recouping more than £40m in fees, but there’s still time to do more if they want to.
Deals between Premier League and EFL clubs can be completed between now and 16 October, while the Russian and Portuguese windows are also still open, but much of today’s transfer talk surrounds deals which have and haven’t already been completed.
