Liverpool had a pretty successful summer in terms of securing new players. Thiago Alcantara was top of the pile after completing his move from Bayern Munich, and Kostas Tsimikas will provide some much-needed cover, while the Reds’ other new boy Diogo Jota has shown his early promise too.

However, the transfer window hasn’t shut entirely just yet. Premier League teams are still able to do business with Championship clubs until 5pm on Friday should they wish.

For Liverpool this looks far more likely to be in the shape of players leaving rather than new ones moving to Anfield. And as transfer news never stops, there’s also still plenty of rumours linking players with joining the Reds in future windows.
