Liverpool's Mohamed Salah posts second positive Covid-19 test as Egypt FA clarify situation

The Egyptian FA have confirmed that Mohamed Salah has provided a second positive coronavirus test. The Liverpool star will now need to self isolate.

A statement said: “A second swab was carried out by Mohamed Salah, the national team star and Liverpool English club, and the result showed a positive case of the big star infected with the coronavirus. "The first swab came out positive, but the Egyptian Football Federation decided to do a second swab to confirm, as the star's case received great attention from the Federation at all levels." Salah was routinely screened under protocols after joining up with his country Egypt for international duty this week, and was found to be positive for Covid-19.
