The mayor of Liverpool has spoken out after videos of a couple having sex in view of hundreds of bystanders in Concert Square went viral.
Clips have emerged showing a man and woman having sex just a few yards away from drinkers at Einstein Bier Haus. Although members of the public began filming the couple with their phones, the pair didn't seem too bothered.
Footage also emerged apparently showing the couple having sex in Bold Street and what appears to be a Merseyrail train. The videos began making the rounds on social media on Tuesday with a wide range of reactions, going from amusement to disgust. Writing on Twitter, she said: "I am extremely shocked and concerned at videos circulating showing acts of indecent exposure and sexual activity in our city. "This isn’t amusing – it’s disturbing, damaging and an illegal act.
