Liverpool are planning an audacious bid to re-sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City in the summer transfer window. That is according to reports in France, who say Sterling is being lined up as a replacement for Sadio Mane, should the Senegal winger leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Mane is being linked with a move to Real Madrid, so L'Equipe say Liverpool are exploring players who could replace him should the Spanish giants make a move.
One of those is former winger Sterling, who made the move from Anfield to the Etihad in 2015 and has won seven trophies since.
