Liverpool fans were incensed at half-time after being robbed six seconds at the end of the first-half against Manchester United.
Referee Paul Tierney blew for the interval before the one minute of added time was up, just as Reds star Xherdan Shaqiri had played Sadio Mane in over the top.
The Senegal international was onside when the pass was played, and would have had a good chance of finding the net had play continued.
Thiago was visibly upset with Tierney as the whistle blew, with his head in his hands. Liverpool fans took to social media at half-time to vent their fury with the officials. "Is Paul Tierney a united fan, because ending the half 10 seconds before the MINIMUM amount of time added on is a disgrace," one fan.
