LITTLE MIX have taken a thinly-veiled swipe at ex-bandmate Jesy Nelson in stinging track Cut You Off. The barbed pop song is the newest release from the girls’ upcoming album, Between Us.

And we can reveal that the pointed lyrics appear to take aim at Jesy — who left the group in 2020 — as they sing about cutting someone off: “To protect my energy.” The girls sing: “How did we get here; We used to be so cool; Nothing lasts forever but I really thought wlittle e could; I know there’ll be tears but it’s worth the broken heart; If I can’t protect my energy, I gotta cut you off.” Unveiling the title this week, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall revealed that recording the song was “like therapy”.
