Little Mix have slammed The X Factor for its “predictable sob stories”.The Shout Out To My Ex singers have criticised the show which found them fame, after they won the series in 2011, claiming the show has “lost its authenticity”.The girl band, formed of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall have opened up on why they think the show has taken a dip in ratings following Simon Cowell’s decision not to go ahead the ITV contest this year.

Jade, 27, explained: “I think the problem is when it’s like a script. When they’re like, ‘This is going to be a sob story,’ then they’ll stop the song halfway through and ask if they have something else.
