UPSAHL has shared an exclusive playlist to accompany her appearance on NME’s The Cover this week (December 9).The alt-pop star is the latest to grace The Cover, a renewal of NME’s commitment to supporting emerging talent across the globe on a weekly basis.
Every week, a rising artist will feature on The Cover – you can read the profile of UPSAHL here, written by Hannah Mylrea and featuring photography by Ashley Osborn.To accompany The Cover, UPSAHL has curated an exclusive playlist for NME titled ‘Straight out of PHX’, named after her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.
The collection features 15 songs that highlight the singer’s wide-ranging music influences, from rock bands such as Amyl and The Sniffers and Weezer, classic hits by The Ting Tings and Depeche Mode to songs from contemporaries like COBRAH and Little Simz.
