Spiritbox have dropped an immense new single called ‘Soft Spine’ – check it out below.Arriving as a standalone track, the release comes from the Canadian metal band as they prepare to hit the road with Gojira and KoRn for a huge tour across North America.As expected, the new song sees Courtney LaPlante and co.
break out their signature, eruptive sound, and deliver the same extreme growls that first put them on the map. “String of pearls to keep the bind / Twisting tighter, is it fine? / A constant voyeur in my mind / Insidious by nature / Rewarding sick behaviour,” she sings in the opening verse.In the chorus, she adds: “Soft spine / Ascending up to meet my eyes wide / I am a witness to your regicide / The dissolution of your soft spine / You all deserve each other.”The song marks the first new music from Spiritbox since they shared their ‘The Fear of Fear’ EP last year.
Their last full-length album arrived in 2021 in the form of their debut album ‘Eternal Blue’.Spiritbox’s tour with KoRn and Gojira will kick off tomorrow (September 12) with an opening night in Tampa, Florida.
LaPlante and Co. will serve as openers, while the French metal band will serve as direct support for KoRn.
