Sky Ferreira has released her first song in over two years titled ‘Leash’, which was written and recorded for upcoming A24 film Babygirl.

Fans, including Charli XCX, have been waiting with baited breath for new music from the embattled singer, who previously spoke about her troubles with former label Capitol Records.The synth-heavy dream pop ‘Leash’ brims with vengeance, with Ferreira singing about the pain and cynicism of walking away from love. “I sense it in the dark, I let you wear me like a scar / I’ll run through everything that you are,” she sings in a verse.She then launches into its explosive, nihilistic chorus: “You’re my heart in human form / Always crawl and kiss the ground / Surrender to the master / In the end, nothing matters“.
