Check it out below.The track features a bright horn section and groovy bass and guitar lines while both Peck and Beck sing: “Sin City lights / Spin the wheel around and roll the dice / Death Valley high / Gonna let it run like the devil’s son tonight,” shouting out Las Vegas and its electric scene.Directed by Austin Peters, the accompanying video for ‘Death Valley High’ serves as a tribute to Vegas and opens with the words “Peck Beck” in lights as a homage to Elvis Presley’s ’68 comeback special.
It sees both musicians perform in the middle of a roulette wheel and features cameos by Sharon Stone and Gigi Goode while having a night out in Sin City.The song is the latest to be shared from Peck’s forthcoming album ‘Stampede’ which is set for release on August 2 via Warner.
The LP will also feature ‘Midnight Ride’, the masked singer’s collab with Kylie Minogue and Diplo as well as ‘You’re an Asshole, I Can’t Stand You (and I Want a Divorce)’ featuring Margo Price.
