Liam Gallagher
William John Paul Gallagher (born 21 September 1972) is an English singer and songwriter. He rose to fame as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis in the 1990s and 2000s, and later fronted the rock band Beady Eye in the early 2010s, before beginning a solo career after the dissolution of both bands. One of the most recognisable figures in British music, he is noted for his outspoken and abrasive manner; penchant for wearing parkas; distinctive singing style, in which he elongates vowels; and signature stance on stage, which consists of him holding his arms behind his back and singing up into a downward-facing microphone.

Liam Gallagher and John Squire have released a teaser clip of their latest single ‘Just Another Rainbow’ from their upcoming joint album – check it out below.The former Oasis frontman and former Stone Roses guitarist confirmed their collaborative LP last month, after teasing music together for quite some time.After having launched a website and a series of videos from one another back in December, Gallagher and Squire announced that their first single ‘Just Another Rainbow’ will be released on January 5, 2024, with “more new music to follow as the year unfolds”.

The single is available to pre-order on 7” vinyl and to pre-save here.Today (January 2), the two musicians have shared a clip of ‘Just Another Rainbow’ on their official social media.

The track features psychedelia-tinged guitar from Squire while Gallagher sings “Just another Rainbow / Dripping on my tree“.

The clip also features the duo performing in front of a tie-dye screen and in a tunnel while wearing signature parkas.A post shared by Liam Gallagher (@liamgallagher)“To me the most obvious take on ‘Just Another Rainbow’ is that it’s about disappointment, and the sentiment is that you never get what you really want,” said Squire in a press release. “But I don’t like to explain songs, I think that’s the privilege of the listener, it’s whatever you want it to be.
