So it wasn't a huge shock when John openly backed the BBC's probe into Gregg after whispers of his "inappropriate" antics with some female contestants bubbled up.
But now it looks as though John's wife, Lisa Faulkner - who won Celeb MasterChef in 2010 - also made her feelings towards Gregg, 60, perfectly clear - as she reshared her husband's post on Instagram.
Food critic Grace Dent, a mainstay to the cooking series, also showed some subtle support with a quick ‘like’, reports the Mirror.
