Line of Duty star Martin Compston hosted a pre-show World Cup party for Scots indie-rock band The View, ahead of their gig in Glasgow.

Lead vocalist of the Dundee group, Kyle Falconer took to Instagram, sharing a picture of him and Martin ahead of their gig at the O2 Academy on Sunday night.In the post, Kyle vowed to "lift the roof" off the venue tonight.Kyle said: "Thanks to my good pal @mrmartincompston who hosted a nice pre show #WorldCup party for me and ma squad!
