Line Of Duty's Martin Compston confessed fans have got pretty close with wild theories ahead of the finale. The actor, who plays Steve Arnott, joined his Line Of Duty co-star Vicky McClure, who plays Kate Fleming, on The Jonathan Ross Show.

Fans have been sharing their insane theories but Martin admitted some are "pretty close" to what's going to unfold in the explosive finale.

He said: “Every year you worry, are we still relevant? Are people still going to be invested? Now we’re bigger than ever, getting new fans... "It’s an intense period when it’s on.
