Phillip Schofield gave an update to fans on Thursday afternoon about the security incident that caused This Morning to cut filming mid-show hours earlier. Viewers were left confused when the live ITV programme suddenly switched to a pre-recorded episode, unaware that the studio had been evacuated following a security alert which was called nearby.
