Lily Allen has admitted that she 'wouldn't be married' to her husband David Harbour if she wasn't sober. The singer, 37, discussed her battle with alcoholism and 'reacting' to body shaming trolls on social media in a new interview on Thursday.
She reflected on her past four years of sobriety and shockingly confessed that without it, she 'might not even be alive. ' In the candid discussion, Lily also opened up about her relationship with Instagram, after having recently taken a break, and said she 'shouldn't let' trolls affect her.
Speaking to Glamour Magazine about being sober, she said: 'Pretty much every aspect of my life has changed as a result of my sobriety.
I actually don't even know if I'd be alive if I'm honest if I hadn't got sober. ' Lily explained she had 'quite a complex relationship' with drugs and alcohol and found filming certain scenes in her new drama, Dreamland difficult as a result.
