Lil Wayne faces a $500,000 lawsuit from his former chef, Morghan Medlock, who says that the musical artist wrongfully fired her after she had to tend to her injured son.In legal docs reviewed by TMZ, Medlock accused Lil Wayne, 40, of wrongful termination, retaliation, and multiple illegal labor practices linked to more than a year of employment for the entertainer.Medlock said in court docs that she accompanied the Lollipop artist - who threw A Weezy Christmas bash at a Dave & Buster's for 150 teens over the weekend in New Orleans - to Las Vegas over the Memorial Day weekend in her stead as a chef for the rapper.

He was snapped in LA this past July Medlock said she first began working for Lil Wayne in October 2020 and had been assigned to organize his 'menus on a daily basis to meet his particular requests,' The Blast reported, citing legal docs.'Her tasks included but were not limited to the shopping and preparation of each meal, coordinating the anticipated number of meals to prepare in addition to meeting others demands and requests,' she said in court papers, noting that she was 'on call' for the majority of the time.

Medlock told the court that while on the trip, she was told that her 10-year-old son was hospitalized in Los Angeles with 'a severe head injury and concussion requiring emergency hospitalization.'Medlock said that Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., had stalled the departure of the flight back by smoking marijuana on the aircraft.
