Ange Postecoglou looks set to complete the signing of the Israeli international Abada for £3.5 million from homeland club Maccabi Petah Tikva.
The 19-year-old striker will leave Israeli football after previously being on the brink of joining Ukrainian champions Keiv in January.Abada had agreed to move and reached an agreement on his salary, but was dismayed to read the small print on the contract.
Any breach in the contract would have meant he would have lost 80 per cent of his wages and he had to sign a clause that meant he would agree not to take any possible.
