Budget chain Lidl has unveiled its affordable turkey range for Christmas, with items set to arrive in stores from 19 December.

Whatever your Christmas arrangements this year, shoppers will be able to pick up an impressive centre-piece for Christmas dinner from £2.89 per kg at the chain.

The wallet-friendly price makes Lidl one of the most affordable place to buy your turkey from this year. It's only matched by rival Aldi, who is also selling its turkeys for the same price that will also be available from 19 December.

Lidl's full selection includes an array of options, in all sizes, depending on how many you are hosting this year. The Birchwood British Whole Turkey (£2.89 per kg) is the cheapest, but for those wanting to splash out there
