And, understandably, his mum is trying to stay strong but she fought back the tears as she revealed Liam's family are all 'worried sick' about his health.
Speaking to the Mail Online, Karen Payne said, "We are all worried sick about it but we just have to get on. It’s horrible – him being all the way over there.
He’s in Milan and it sounds like he’ll be there for a week. I feel helpless." Karen, who is from Wolverhampton, said that she could only "hope for the best" as there is "nothing [she] can do." "We feel helpless.
