Liam Payne’s ex Aliana Mawla mourns One Direction singer after his death at 31: ‘Will forever love and miss you’

Payne died at age 31 after plunging off a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s unclear if it was intentional or accidental.

However, an autopsy released on Thursday indicated that Payne may have been unconscious at the time he fell, and witnesses told TMZ that Payne was acting “erratic” shortly before the fatal incident.
