In a bid to bring their beloved son home, Liam's distraught father is said to be urgently working towards repatriating his body to the UK.

However, insiders close to the case have allegedly informed Argentine newspaper Clarin that the singer's remains are expected to stay in Argentina "between 10 and 15 days" while authorities await crucial test outcomes.

Representatives from the British Embassy have reportedly stated: "We are supporting Liam Payne's family and are in contact with local authorities." The investigation, led by Prosecutor Marcelo Roma, hinges on the pending toxicological analysis following the initial autopsy report.
