Liam Payne pulls out of tour after being rushed to hospital with 'serious kidney infection'

One Direction’s Liam Payne shared a heartfelt video to Instagram where he explained he was forced to pull out of his upcoming tour of South America due to a “serious kidney infection” which left him spending time in the hospital.The singer directed the video to his fans where he apologised and explained he started rehearsals but was advised that it was “not the right time” to be going on tour due to his health.

Liam also explained in the caption that he had “no other choice” but to postpone the tour and that his “serious kidney infection” is not something he would “wish on anyone”.

Liam penned: “It’s with a heavy heart I have to tell you that we have no other choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America.

Over the past week I’ve been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and doctors orders are that I now need to rest and recover.” The star continued: “I was beyond excited to come play for you guys.To all of you who have bought tickets: I’m so sorry.
