A preliminary autopsy report has revealed the tragic circumstances surrounding One Direction star Liam Payne's untimely death at just 31 years old.The pop sensation tragically fell from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October, where he was staying with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.
On the day of his death, however, Liam was alone. The distressing details in the preliminary autopsy report indicated that Liam died due to "multiple traumas", resulting in "internal and external bleeding" after the 40-foot drop.
Forensic experts concluded that "the 25 injuries described in the autopsy are compatible with those caused by a fall from a height." They further explained that Liam had no "defensive type" injuries and that the wounds were "vital and produced at the same time as each other".
As a result, it was determined that "the intervention of third parties would be ruled out," according to reports from Argentinian news source La Nacion, reports the Mirror.
