Liam Morrison admits he was delighted to be rewarded with a new deal by Bayern Munich, but the ambitious defender insists only staying in the Bavarian giants’ first team will make him believe he’s made it.
The former Celtic defender captained Scotland Under 21s this week in their second game of a friendly double-header against Wales.
Scot Gemmill’s side crashed to a 3-0 defeat which followed up a 3-2 loss to the Swedes. Morrison was handed a huge boost earlier this month when the Bundesliga champions handed him a new two-year deal after he recovered from a series of injuries and has established himself in their Under 19s team.
