Liam Gallagher's iconic Berghaus jacket is back in time for the Oasis tour - and you can still shop it
ok.co.ukOasis is gearing up to wow the nation once again with their sell-out tour next year, and in celebration of their comeback, Liam Gallagher has revived one of his most iconic stage looks – the Berghaus jacket.The jacket was originally a must-have for mountain rescue and worn by legendary British mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington (who features in the new Berghaus Icons campaign alongside Liam) when he summited Everest 40 years ago, as well as Alan Hinkes OBE, the first Brit to conquer all the world's mountains over 8000 metres high.
However, in 1997, Liam gave the brand a fresh fashion twist when he sported one on stage in Oslo, on the first night of Oasis' European leg of the Be Here Now tour.
Now, with the launch of the new Icons campaign, Berghaus and Liam have joined forces once more to bring this must-have jacket back into the fashion limelight just in time for Oasis' brand new tour.
