Liam Fox is confident that if his Dundee United players can cut out the mistakes then they have the quality to scramble out of the relegation mire.United should have taken a point at home to St Johnstone at the weekend but a massive blunder from keeper Mark Birighitti left them empty-handed.
Costly errors have United rooted to the foot of the table and now they have a massive game away to second-bottom Ross County this weekend.Fox has insisted it is all about remaining United and battling through the current hard times.
The head coach admitted: “We have big games coming up and beforehand we knew that would be the case whatever the outcome on Saturday.
We are away to Ross County next, we’ll stick together, myself, the staff and players. If we can keep putting in performances and cut out the mistakes I believe we can still get to where we need to get to.”The Saints’ setback was a sore one because Fox had opened up and gone with a 4-3-3 formation.
