Liam Delap has admitted he is 'so happy' at Ipswich Town and isn't 'focusing' on his future amid increased transfer speculation involving Manchester United.
The 22-year-old left Manchester City on a permanent deal last summer to make the £15million move to newly-promoted Ipswich. Delap, who spent the 2023/24 season on loan at Hull City, has hit the ground running since his switch to Suffolk, scoring nine goals in 23 Premier League appearances this term.
His impressive form for Ipswich has attracted interest from several potential suitors. One of them is said to be United, with reports suggesting that Ruben Amorim's side have made Delap a summer transfer target.
Earlier this week The Athletic reported that with Viktor Gyokeres looking to join a Champions League team, United believe that the chances of the Sweden international moving to Old Trafford are unlikely.
